A. Palliative Medicine Subspecialty Training Programme

This is a 2-3 years advanced training programme for doctors in Singapore. The entry criteria are MRCP/MMed (Internal Medicine) or MMED (Family Medicine). Trainee who completes the training will be accredited as a Palliative Medicine Subspecialist. B. 27th Postgraduate Course in Palliative Medicine

This is a biannual 3-day course organized by the Singapore Hospice Council and Singapore Medical Association, for doctors who wish to learn about the principles and practice of palliative medicine. D. Advanced Diploma in Health Sciences (Palliative Care)

This is a 530-hour course organized by Nanyang Polytechnic for Registered Nurses to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills in Palliative Care. This course includes a 2-week clinical attachment at various hospices and palliative care units in acute hospitals. The next course is tentatively starting in October 2008. E. Certificate in Palliative Care Foundation Course in the Hospice/Nursing Home
